Explore and Create is an engaging, hands-on careers event designed to introduce Year 8 and Year 9 students to the diverse and exciting opportunities available within the sports industry. Working in teams throughout the day, students take on the challenge of creating and developing their own community sports organisation, culminating in a Dragons’ Den-style presentation to a judging panel.
Combining teamwork, creativity, problem-solving and communication, the event provides an immersive experience that links classroom learning with real-world careers in sport.
This event inspires, engages and develops students at a crucial stage in their decision‑making journey. Students leave with a clearer understanding of how their interests and skills link to future careers.
